About Dr Roberto D'Angelo

I am a psychiatrist with specialist qualifications in psychotherapy and contemporary relational psychoanalysis. My work involves looking in depth at the origins of emotional pain and problematic patterns, rather than treating symptoms alone. Recognition of how we continue to perpetuate our own difficulties can be liberating and life-changing.

I work with adolescents, adults and couples. In addition to psychotherapy, I offer clinical supervision, diagnostic assessment and medication consultation. Consultations are available in person in Byron Bay or online via videoconferencing.
